Today's Planetary Transit
Cosmic weather (Gochar) for November 3, 2026
What is Planetary Transit (Gochar)?
Gochar (Sanskrit for "movement") is the continuous transit of planets through the zodiac. While your natal chart is a fixed snapshot at birth, today's transit shows the active, ever-changing cosmic energy influencing daily life. Each planet moves at its own speed — the Moon changes signs every ~2.5 days, while Saturn spends ~2.5 years in one sign.

Retrograde Planets (Vakri Grahas)
When a planet appears to move backwards from Earth's perspective, it enters retrograde (Vakri) state. In Vedic astrology, retrograde energy turns inward and intensifies — its qualities become more prominent, sometimes producing unexpected or delayed results. Mercury retrograde affects communication; Venus retrograde affects relationships; Jupiter retrograde deepens spiritual reflection; Saturn retrograde revisits karmic lessons.
How to Read Today's Transit Results
Each planet card above shows its current sign, degree, Nakshatra, and whether it's retrograde. The sign tells you which area of life is activated, the degree shows how mature that energy is, and the Nakshatra adds the lunar mansion's specific flavor. Retrogrades are highlighted in rose — pay extra attention to those themes today.

Understanding Gochar (Transit)
In Vedic Astrology the continuous movement of planets through the zodiac is known as Gochar. While your natal Kundli is a fixed snapshot of the sky at birth, transits represent the active, ever-changing cosmic energy that influences daily life.
The Moon is the fastest — changing signs every ~2.5 days. Saturn is the slowest outer planet, spending ~2.5 years in one sign. When a planet turns Retrograde (℞), its energy turns inward and intensifies.
