देवद्विजगुरुप्राज्ञपूजनं शौचमार्जवम् |
ब्रह्मचर्यमहिंसा च शारीरं तप उच्यते ||१७-१४||
Transliteration
devadvijaguruprājñapūjanaṃ śaucamārjavam . brahmacaryamahiṃsā ca śārīraṃ tapa ucyate ||17-14||
हिन्दी अनुवाद · Hindi Translation
देव, द्विज (ब्राह्मण), गुरु और ज्ञानी जनों का पूजन, शौच, आर्जव (सरलता), ब्रह्मचर्य और अहिंसा, यह शरीर संबंधी तप कहा जाता है।।
English Translation
The worship of gods, twice-borns, venerable persons and the wise; purity, straightforwardness, celibacy and non-injury,-are said to be bodily austerity.
